Donations

With the donation module you can:

• Easily register CPR numbers, so members can get tax deduction (if you are approved for this).

• Easily create a report on donations in a given year, which can be used when reporting to SKAT.

• Easily distinguish donations from memberships/subscriptions/events, so only donations are included in the report to SKAT.

• Easily make it possible to support with different amounts, or to choose the amount freely.

Setup in the system

Start by creating a so-called payment plan. Read more about this here: Payment plans

It is important that on the payment plan you specify that payments should be included in the donation account.

Report to SKAT

If you have activated the “Donation module”, there will be an extra menu on the left named “Donations”, and here you can get an overview of the amounts that individual members have donated in a given year. And this report can form the basis for the reporting you must make to SKAT, if as an association you are approved for this.

The donation module is activated by clicking your association name in the top left corner, and then ticking “Donation module” under “Add-on modules”.

Note that the donation module is an add-on module, which costs extra.

You can however easily create activities of the type “Donation” without activating the donation module. The donation module is primarily necessary if you must report to SKAT.
